I quit. 

For almost 2-1/2 years, I've been a programmer at Siemens and it's time for something new. It seems time to step back, figure out what I want to do next and see some of the world while I'm at it. 
It seems fitting that I take this time in the year 2000, in that year between the end of the 1900's and the beginning of the 21st century. 
I want to use at least part of this lost year to do something for myself, see parts of the world I've not been to before and, most importantly, find a new job, a job that more accurately reflects what I really want to do.
